During my long career in tourism, more than two decades of which I have spent managing Glotera, I have had the opportunity to explore many of the world’s most exceptional destinations. I enjoy sharing this knowledge with our clients.

 

Being a travel advisor means for me is a job full of challenges, but at the same time very satisfying.

 

I manage all kinds of trips: from neighbouring countries to space, in case you are looking for it. I consider the quality of the travel experience to be the most important result of my work. And quality travel is easiest to create when I work with clients who are open to the world and trust our team. I also follow the principle of openness to the world, valuing traditions and the customs of those countries when travelling.

Evelina

An open attitude, a love for the whole world and an inner movement help me in life and work. I have been working at Glotera since the beginning of my career and I enjoy the opportunity to get to know each of the places where my clients will go. I strive for beauty in my work. After all, travel is about beautiful lifestyles, delicious food, stars, volcanoes, deserts and oceans—it is all about that inspires.
 

I consider myself an aesthete and a gourmet, so I like to organise private, exclusive trips. I am happy whenever I can find a way to make a trip special, whether it is a private villa in the Maldives or an adventurous tour to Africa. I am inspired by beautiful interiors and exteriors, and I imagine myself in each location where I am sending my clients

The moment I decided to study tourism led me to amazing life. Thanks to this decision, I travel a lot myself and create trips for others every day. I am inspired by the unusual and interesting choices made by my clients and then by their impressions, experiences and gratitude when they return.

 

I believe that every trip should be an experiential as well as an educational one—it is not enough to tick the boxes after visiting popular destinations. Life moves so fast, and I believe that it is worth slowing down when travelling: to feel, to live, to taste, to experience. I try to share this philosophy with my clients.

My career as a travel advisor at Glotera started more than 20 years ago. During this time I have organised a wide variety of trips and seen incredibly beautiful places: it is as if the borders of the world have been erased. Travelling is an invaluable experience and the most beautiful memories. When I plan trips for my clients, I empathise with each trip and try to make sure that the plan meets everyone’s wishes and interests.

 

When I travel, I admire the natural scenery, the architecture of the cities, and I love to visit botanical gardens, art galleries, museums, enjoy tasty food and people watching. I love travelling to the same places—it feels so good to simply enjoy the “here and now”.

I have been working in tourism for many years. I believe that getting to know different countries and cultures brings new colours, vigour and strength to everyday life.

 

I remember the international Pow Wow tourism exhibition in America. The Disneyland theme park in Orlando was opened just for us, the guests of the show. It seemed that, together with the other exhibitors, we had returned to our childhood. Travelling allows people not only to explore, to see what they have never seen before, gain new insights, but also to remember the happiness of everyday life, long forgotten. Travelling can be an excellent investment in oneself.

Although I have been a travel advisor for more than 20 years, I have never experienced a monotonous day at work. Every day I get the chance to travel the world, at least virtually, creating different journeys for different people looking for unique recreational or educational experiences.

 

The closest to my heart is Africa. I have found everything there: nature, food, people, culture and peace. I am very intrigued by the idea of going to Antarctica because it seems so inaccessible, cold, windy and the least explored. It is a place where there is no East, South or West—only North and the possibility of going around the world in just a few steps!
